Photography has the capacity to open windows on worlds we might otherwise never see.
I use the camera as a medium between the world and conscience, between reality and dream.
In my work, photography is more of a personal assessment rather than a record of what is.
For many years, my images came out of the dark room. Now I use computer technology to bring them out of the dark of my imagination. In this series of images from a 15 year period of time, I have taken the human figure out of the maddening crowd and the tree out of the forest, into a site for extraordinary perception These then become psychic landscapes brimming with narrative connotations just below the surface and awaiting inhabitation by the viewers' own narrative projections.
